Achievements :

Some instances where taxpayers have received refunds due to Parivartan’s efforts:

 1.    Mr Jatinder Singh Sobti had not been getting refunds for three years. He has got refunds for all the three years i.e AY 96-97, 97-98, 98-99 due to Parivartan's efforts.

2.  Mr Om Prakash Yadav has also got refunds for AY 94-95, 95-96 and 96-97 due to Parivartan's efforts. He had made several attempts earlier and had lost all hopes before approaching Parivartan.

3.  Mrs Raj Rani Singla has got a very old refund of AY 94-95. 

4.  Mr Raj Kumar has got his refund for AY 96-97

5.  Ku Saroj Bala Chauhan has got her refund for AY 96-97

6.   Mr Sunil Kumar Kanungo has got his refund for AY 96-97

7.  Mr Chhotey Lal has got his refund for AY 96-97

8.  Mr Sushil Kumar Gupta has got his refund for AY 96-97

9.  Ms Chaitali Das Gupta has got her refund for AY 96-97

There are many such examples. The above examples are merely illustrative.

Some instances where Parivartan’s efforts have brought relief to harassed consumers of DVB :

  a)   Mr O P Malik had been trying to get the street lights in front of his house repaired since 1991. He wrote 82 letters and got a word put to the local DVB authorities through area MLA but to no avail. Parivartan’s efforts bore fruits and now his grievance has been resolved. In a letter written to Parivartan, he has sent his blessings for Parivartan’s efforts.

b)  7 families in Maujpur, Shahdara were trying to get a new connection since 1994 but were told that the wire is not there to stretch the line upto their house. They were being asked to shell out Rs 5000 for the wire. They had also tried all efforts to get their grievance resolved but to no avail. Due to Parivartan’s efforts, they have now been issued new connections. 

c)  In the case of Mr R K Gupta, the order of Bijli Adalat was not being implemented by the DVB authorities for the last 4 years. Now it has been done.

 There are a number of such cases.
